Our Mission
The International Academy of Minnesota is committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment where all students can reach their full potential. We provide one on one teaching tailored to your child's interests and life goals. If you are looking to homeschool your child, we are the school for you! We are fully accredited from HBEEA and all of our teachers have Minnesota teaching licenses in education. With our internationally based curriculum and tailored one on one teaching, your child will be able to discover and explore subjects that are interesting to them and grow social-emotionally. Our Educational Philosophy
Our school aims to blend together homeschooling and proven educational concepts from around the world. Our students will be immersed in learning styles and cultures from diverse backgrounds through an online learning model and home based projects. We integrate several educational approaches including: International Baccalaureate PYP, Inquiry Based Learning, Authentic Learning, Active learning, Flipped Classroom, Project Based Learning, Play Based Learning, Social-Emotional Learning, Constructivism, STEAM, Growth Mindset, Whole Child Education, Outdoor Education, World Schooling, World Languages and Cultures and more! Our curriculum is based on the overall concepts of the International Baccalaureate model and customized to feet the needs and interests of each individual student.
Our Teachers
Sofy and Adam are Professional Educators with over 30 years combined teaching experience all over the globe. They have 3 master's degrees between them, speak 5 languages and have lived in three different continents. Sofy and Adam are dedicated to ensuring a positive learning experience for your child and designing a learning plan customized to fit their interests and needs.

- MN State Testing Requirement is WAIVED
- All Required Documents are Submitted to your Local School District by HBEAA
- Minnesota Students Qualify for FREE PSEO classes in high school
- $425 per month (August - May)
- Minnesota licensed teachers
- Daily one on one instruction
- Individualized learning goals and instruction
- We accept students up to 25 years old
